The 2026 Primary Election is May 19, 2026

The time is now to apply for a Mail-In Ballot. 

Requesting a Mail-In Ballot now will ensure you get a Mail-in Ballot for BOTH the May 19, 2026 Primary

and

the November 3, 2026 General Election

 

Mail-in voting in Bucks County is safe, secure, reliable and wins elections, and anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong.  In this 250th year of our great nation's independence, make sure you voice is heard and that your vote counts.   Protect your vote against last minute family, health or work emergencies that could prevent you from voting in person on Election Day by requesting a Mail-In Ballot.  If it turns out you can make it to the polls on Election Day, simply bring your Mail-In Ballot with you to the polls and you will be allowed to vote in person.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT "PERMANENT" MAIL-IN VOTING

If you selected to be a "Permanent" mail-in voter, you must still request your mail-in ballot each spring.  Even if you received Mail-in Ballots last year, you must still request a Mail-in Ballot this year.  If you requested a Mail-in Ballot in the Spring, you will be sent a Mail-in Ballot for both the Primary Election AND the General Election.  However, even if you select "Permanent" status, you must request/apply for a Mail-in Ballot every year.  This is a safety precaution that prevents Ballots being mailed out automatically each year.  For more information, go to the Board of Elections website page for Permanent Mail-in Voters:

1.  Vote at ballot drop box: You can bring your completed ballot to

one of the secure ballot drop boxes in the County

beginning May 4 and through Election Day.

All ballot drop boxes in Bucks County are in government offices or public libraries. They are all located inside, so no drops can be made at night. All ballot boxes are monitored by people as well as cameras.


2. Mail-in your ballot: Your APPLICATION for a Mail-in Ballot must be received in the office of the Board of Elections by May 12. If you have not already applied for a Mail-In Ballot, please do so quickly.

If you have received your mail-in ballot, simply complete it and

return the voted ballot to the Board of Elections no later than Election Day.

The opening and processing of voted ballots is personally observed and monitored by teams of Republican volunteers, including attorneys, at the Board of Elections all day (and night) on Election Day.
