Thoughts on the 2025 General Election and 2026 ...
Except for the re-election of our Tax Collector Rich Krollman, Election Day did not go the way any of us wanted - either here or anywhere else in the state (or country, for that matter). Clearly, we here in Upper Makefield and Bucks County were up against headwinds not of our making that could not be overcome, no matter how much effort we put in. The Republican party here in Upper Makefield Township is blessed with the hardest working and dedicated volunteers of any community in the County. The outcome of the election was not reflective of a lack of effort or the qualifications of our candidates. Unfortunately, and to the detriment of our community, a majority of voters chose to focus on issues that were not the most important in deciding the best candidate for the offices that were up for election locally.

But 2025 is behind us. A new year is upon us, along with new elections and opportunities for Republican victories. Those opportunities in 2026 include the following:
-
Representative in U.S. Congress
-
Governor of Pennsylvania
-
Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania
-
State Senator for our senatorial district (10th District)
-
State Representative for our State House District (31st District)

We are not daunted by the results of last year. We will continue to work hard and as a team for our community and the ideals that make us proud to be Republicans.
